20+ years experience in GIS Substations EPC projects in Oil & Gas industry

AGE LIMIT

55 years

MUST HAVE

Some experience on Saudi Arabia / Middle East projects

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead project management sub-function for the project and provide input to and lead the implementation of functional strategy to successfully manage and deliver projects while meeting the cost, timescale, Quality and Safety parameters in line with overall country level strategy, business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies.

 

Develop project management strategy and direction for major projects and programs in line with overall country level strategy, business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies.

 

Champion technically accurate, timely, commercially-viable and customer-orientated strategic projects.

 

Monitor and adhere to defined budgets and monitor all project related action and expenses (i.e. planning, sourcing, delivery of results).

 

Review project management and monitor project progress and status.

 

Lead identification of project risks and implementation of mitigation actions and resolutions in a timely manner.

 

Continuously re-evaluate and adjust project goals, ensure alignment with concurrent projects and support implementation of project results.

 

Monitor and report program/ project process, highlight any divergence from plans and communicate with key project stakeholders.

 

Build and develop understanding of customer requirements, suppliers, competitor activities and market trends to influence direction of projects.

 

Develop and administer an effective governance structure to support project implementation at the country.

 

Serve as highest instance of escalation and advice in all project management matters for the country.

 

Drive targeted training measures on relevant project management topics and tools.

 

Spearhead project strategy, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement to maintain compliance with Aramco standards and timelines.

 

Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, ensuring budget adherence and maintaining zero-incident safety.

 

Establish a robust business network by collaborating with suppliers, construction agencies, and support teams to effectively execute project requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

 

Lead the project teams to achieve early completion of critical projects by implementing efficient scheduling, proactive resource management, and continuous stakeholder engagement.

 

Lead multiple teams of lower level executives, Senior managers, and managers.

 

Develop short to long-term (1-5 years) plans for optimizing the organization, function, or job-family and the talent required to execute strategies.

 

Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives.

 

Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively.

 

Effect skill on solving the problems and making the decisions with analysis, data’s, records and experience.
